The London Greek Language Meetup Group
We are a friendly and inclusive Meetup group that gathers once or twice a month to practice Greek (all levels are welcome), share our love of the Greek culture and meet like-minded people. TERPSICHORE GREEK DANCE COMPANY
The Terpsichore Greek Dance Company teaches Greek folk dancing classes at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Cross and St Michael. The North London based classes are committed to keeping traditional Greek dancing and music alive in our community.
Founded early in 2004, classes are aimed at adult members of the community who would like to learn traditional Greek dances and rhythms in a lively and fun environment.
The classes encompass a complete range of dance types including circle, line, couple and formation sequences and covers dances from the whole of Greece as well as from regions of well-established Greek communities such as Cyprus, and Asia Minor.
The classes aim to emphasise the true spirit of our culture and the students are encouraged to portray their personal enjoyment to make our classes a fun place to learn. Lessons are held every Wednesday evening.

Founded in 1986, the Lyra Greek Dancers is a London based group of Greek and British enthusiasts committed to keeping authentic, traditional Greek dancing, costumes and music alive. The group has more than 200 successful performances to its credit including international folk dancing festivals and competitions.
